Absolutely incredible! Up until now there was no Frietmuseum in the whole world, which means that the Frietmuseum in Bruges is the first and only museum dedicated to potato fries.
Together with delicious Belgian chocolate, the Belgian potato fry is certainly the product that is the most characteristic of Belgian culinary expertise. Over the years, fries have become known world wide to the delight of adults and children in practically all countries and we can be proud that they actually originate from Belgium.

Do I need to reserve a ticket for the Fries museum?

In order to best prepare the visit of the Fries Museum, we kindly ask visitors to buy their tickets online as much as possible. This way you assure yourself of a place for a visit. Without a reserved ticket we cannot guarantee you access to the museum, especially during busy periods (school vacations, Sundays and public holidays). Electronic vouchers are allowed.

What is the price for the Fries museum?

Here are our different prices:

  • The price of our Fries Museum is 9,50€ for adults, 8€ for seniors and students and 5,50€ for children (3-11 years).
  • For children under 3 years old, the museum is free.

These rates include access to the museum and the audioguide (available in 6 languages). It also offers you a discount at the Belgian fry shop at the end of the museum (accessible only to visitors). You can end your visit with delicious fresh Belgian fries prepared according to the traditional Belgian fry recipe.

To extend your visit, you can buy a combined ticket for the Fries Museum and Choco-Story Bruges.
